Lacey L Shirley took a circuitous path to the practice of law. She began her expert schooling in social work, then returned to school to earn a law degree. The blend of these two disciplines has shaped how she strategies clients and cases.
She finished undergraduate research in social work at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, graduating in 1996. Years later she enrolled on the University of Tulsa College of Law and received her J.D. in 2017. Those two degrees anchor a career that spans human services and the justice system.
After law program she secured authorization to practice in both Oklahoma and Arkansas. Those twin jurisdictions permit her to manage matters that cross state lines and to symbolize clients whose lives touch each groups.
