Before that she completed undergraduate research on the University of Washington School of Law, earning a B.A. in Law, Societies and Justice whilst also studying art records and political science, finishing in 2000. That aggregate of coursework formed an early interest in how law interacts with social establishments and public life.

Her profession has been intertwined with regional bar activity and network volunteer work. Locally, she has been active within the Kitsap Young Lawyers Division, the place she serves as Social Chair, and she or he belongs to the Kitsap County Bar Association and the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. Those roles have stored her visible in the day-to-day life of the county bar and related to other practitioners.

Brown’s outdoor activities reflect civic engagement. She has volunteered with the Gig Harbor Film Festival and participated in an Adopt-A-Road software. Since 2010 she has been concerned with the Alliance of Women Owned Businesses in a club recruitment position. These pursuits run along her legal work and point to a curiosity in community establishments past the courtroom.

Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic. Her undergraduate training in Law, Societies and Justice, together with the arts and political science, offers her a broad lens for assessing client problems. She has a tendency to weigh legal arguments against realistic results and local norms. The Social Chair role in Kitsap’s younger attorneys group also indicates experience organizing friends and managing small events and packages.
