Kelby Monks grew up studying criminal justice and took that curiosity into law program. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Boise State University in 2015. He then attended the University of Idaho College of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2018. Those years set the framework for an early career that combined appellate publicity and plaintiff-aspect practice.
While nevertheless in law school, Monks served as a law clerk on the Idaho Supreme Court in 2017. The position placed him within the state’s appeals process at a formative time in his education.
