Kathleen Hunt is a certified attorney licensed to practice regulation in the State of California. She used to be admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. Her license is presently in active standing. Ms. Hunt is the founder and principal attorney at Unique Law, a law company located in El Cerrito, California. She has been working as an attorney for over 22 years, serving clients throughout the higher Bay Area.
Ms. Hunt earned her law degree degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she graduated in 2003. During her time at Hastings, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Communication & Entertainment Law Journal. Prior to law program, she finished her undergraduate schooling at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1990. She also obtained a Master of Science in Education from California State University, Hayward, in 1993, and holds single-subject and more than one-topic coaching credentials, in addition to a Certificate in Children's Literature.
Ms. Hunt concentrates her practice within the regions of estate making plans and probate regulation. She provides services which includes conservatorship and guardianship estate administration, fitness care directives, trusts, and wills. Her practice encompasses all levels of legal proceedings, which includes initial case evaluation, drafting of legal files, bargaining sessions, and court proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Hunt has handled instances within the Superior Court of California for the County of Contra Costa, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has additionally seemed before the California Court of Appeal on more than one events. Prior to founding her personal company, she labored as an associate at a mid-length litigation firm in El Cerrito for several years.
Ms. Hunt is a member in good standing of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association.
