About Katherine

Katherine Moore began her academic trail at Indiana University Bloomington, where she finished twin undergraduate degrees in 2011: a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She stayed in Indiana for law program and earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2018. The combination of a systematic undergraduate background and legal training informs the manner she approaches factual records and client communications.

After law program, Moore joined Parr Richey Frandsen Patterson Kruse LLP as an affiliate. She practices out of the company’s Indiana workplaces. Her admissions consist of the Indiana bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, enabling her to manage matters in each state and federal court. Her role on the firm has concerned representation throughout those forums and collaborating with colleagues on case strategy and motion practice.

Moore’s undergraduate studies in biochemistry provide her a comfort with technical materials. She has applied that comfort to reviewing professional reports, knowing laboratory data, and preparing questions for technical witnesses. Her diploma in Spanish supports communication with fluent in Spanish clients and witnesses, and she has participated in client conferences and interviews in Spanish when suitable. Those abilities take a seat along extra traditional trial preparation tasks: drafting court filings, conducting discovery, and collaborating in hearings.

At the firm, Moore splits her time among courtroom work and client counseling. She assists on motion practice and evidence-gathering process disputes, prepares witnesses for sworn testimony, and conducts legal studies. Colleagues describe her as methodical in assembling records and actual in drafting. She has labored on things brought in state court as well as instances that required elimination or unique submitting in federal court.

Moore is a recent member of the Indiana State Bar. Her membership maintains her connected to local practice developments and continuing legal education possibilities. She has attended seminars on proof, process, and updates to state and federal rules.

Outside of casework, Moore’s aggregate of scientific education and language ability continues to shape her daily practice. It informs the questions she asks and the files she requests. She advocates for clients in matters filed in Indiana state and federal courts and maintains an active trial-ready practice.
