About Katherine Anne
Katherine Anne Dierdorf earned her law degree from Washington University School of Law after completing an undergraduate diploma in records on the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She moved from the study of the past to courtroom practice, a shift that shows up in a steady, practical profession trail instead of dramatic pivots.
She started her legal career as an associate at Armstrong Teasdale, LLP in 2011. Those early years in a bigger company gave her exposure to legal proceedings and transactional work, and to the routines of client management and courtroom preparation that form an effective trial lawyer.
In 2013 she returned to an academic setting as a professional bono lawyer at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. That role involved direct client touch and casework provided thru the law school clinic, the place she treated matters that gave her hands-on experience beneath school supervision.
The next year she took a role as an Assistant Circuit Lawyer at the Circuit Lawyer's Office. That position carried trial-level duties and the day-to-day needs of public service. It reinforced courtroom practice and introduced the workflow of handling cases for a public workplace.
Later in 2014 she opened Dierdorf Law, LLC. She formed a solo practice that displays the variety of the prior positions she held. Running a one-lawyer company required shifting from casework alone to managing the executive side of practice, from client intake to billing and all of the selections a solo practitioner must make.
Dierdorf is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Her knowledge ranges across private company legal proceedings, pro bono clinic work, and public workplace duties. Colleagues and clients see an attorney who takes on both the advocacy and the realistic work of operating instances.
She continues to function Dierdorf Law, LLC and advocates for clients in matters in Missouri and Illinois. Her recent practice focuses on offering legal services to individual and institutional clients throughout the ones jurisdictions.
