Justin W Whitney grew up studying numbers and structures. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas in 2000, then became to law. Whitney finished his law degree at Washburn University in 2005 and later pursued superior study in taxation at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, where he earned a LL.M. in tax law.

After law program, Whitney entered personal practice. He constructed knowledge advising clients on tax compliance and planning, drawing on his background in accounting to bridge legal and financial issues. Over time he further property making plans and enterprise transactional work to his portfolio.
