About Justin

Justin Sterling earned his J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in 2009. He arrived at law program after in advance work in legal studies, and he took up the practical education that many college students find decisive for a way they practice later. His law school training provided the academic basis he would pair with hands-on tasks in small company settings.

His first recorded legal work predates law program. In 2001 he labored on legal studies at the Law Offices of Vincent J. Ciecka. That early experience involved sifting statutes and case regulation and supporting attorneys who needed clear, accurate legal memoranda. Those years taught him how to translate complicated legal questions into usable solutions for busy practitioners.

After law program he moved into clerkship roles to deepen courtroom and transactional experience. In 2009 he served as a regulation clerk at B&D Law Group. He later took a clerkship in 2011 at the Law Offices of Bob M. Cohen and Associates. In the ones positions he treated record preparation, assisted with discovery, and supported trial preparation. The clerkships exposed him to the realistic demands of litigation and client work. They also concerned close collaboration with supervising attorneys and regular touch with clients.

In 2013 he started practicing as a lawyer at The Sterling Firm. His title there is indexed as lawyer beginning that year. Over time he shifted from at the back of-the-scenes research and clerk support into direct client representation. His progression from research work to clerking and then to an attorney position mirrors a regular path for attorneys who cost continuous, practice-based studying.
