About Justin
Justin Elsner earned a Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University in 2003 and completed his J.D. at Seattle University School of Law in 2007. His path to the law included early work in a nonlegal setting; he hung out as an accountant for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2002. That experience gave him familiarity with numbers and enterprise processes before he moved complete-time into legal practice.
After completing law program, Elsner assumed the role of managing lawyer at Elsner Law Office, PLLC in 2007. He has run the workplace since then, handling each the operational needs of a small firm and direct client work. Those dual responsibilities shape how he organizes cases and communicates with clients. Day-to-day duties have ranged from case intake and pretrial motions to court appearances.
Elsner keeps memberships in numerous professional organizations that mirror the variety of his court exercise. He is a member of the Washington Association for Justice, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the King County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Snohomish County Bar Association, the place his membership dates to 2010. On the federal side, he has been a member of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington since 2007.
His network and extracurricular affiliations prolong beyond the bar. Elsner joined the Mountlake Terrace Business Association in 2015 and is active in that nearby enterprise network. He has also been a member of the triathlon company USAT since 2014, a signal of a personal curiosity outdoor the workplace.
Colleagues describe Elsner as a person who balances the administrative burdens of running a small company with ordinary courtroom work. He is relaxed managing case documents and handling the logistical side of legal proceedings. At hearings and trials he makes a speciality of realistic advocacy and on making ready witnesses and evidence for presentation.
Elsner’s practice is rooted in the courts of Washington and within the Western District’s federal venue. He continues to lead Elsner Law Office, PLLC and to represent clients at the state and federal degree. He currently practices at Elsner Law Office, PLLC, representing clients in Washington courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
