Julie D. Myers entered law after completing a science-focused undergraduate diploma and a 3-year law school training. She earned a B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1987, where her research covered nutrition, chemistry and biology. She received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1993.
Her early legal work included a court clerkship in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland, in 1996. That knowledge preceded the release of her first solo practice in 1998.
