About Joshua E
Joshua E Adams earned his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2008 after finishing his studies that began in 2005. He entered the legal profession nearly immediately after finishing law program and began constructing a realistic document in courtroom work and client representation.
He started his career in public service as an assistant state lawyer in the Office of the State Lawyer for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in 2008. That role placed him in the front of trial judges early in his professional life and uncovered him to the procedural realities of state court practice. After several years in public workplace, he moved into private practice as an associate for Richard A. Heller, P.A. in 2012. The affiliate role provided more varied client work and preparation for operating his personal practice.
In 2013 he based The Adams Law Office, P.A., where he serves as proprietor. Establishing the firm allowed him to set the direction of his practice and control each the legal and enterprise sides of a small firm. He has maintained that position since, dealing with matters in Florida courts and holding admission to the Federal Circuit as nicely. His admission to multiple jurisdictions allows him to tackle matters that cross state and federal lines.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in courtroom preparation and concise at some point of proceedings. He has experience on each sides of the aisle, having prosecuted things earlier in his career and later representing personal clients. That combination of perspectives informs his courtroom strategy and client counseling. Courtroom appearances, motion practice and case control are habitual elements of his caseload.
He splits his time among offices in Clearwater and Tampa, persevering with to lead The Adams Law Office, P.A. The firm handles matters that arise in state courts and proceedings that touch federal legal authority. Over the years he has handled trial work, motions and appeals that require familiarity with procedural guidelines at multiple levels of the judiciary.
Outside courtroom he oversees the administrative duties of the firm. He supervises initial case intake, attorney-client communication and legal proceedings approach. He also mentors more youthful attorneys and staff who work within the company. He currently practices from workplaces in Clearwater and Tampa through The Adams Law Office, P.A., representing clients in state and federal matters.
