About Joshua Adam

Joshua Adam Davis started his professional lifestyles within the laboratory before moving into the court. He combined scientific education and law school training into a practice that sits on the intersection of technological know-how, patents and legal proceedings. He now runs a small practice that serves clients on highbrow property matters and technology transactions.

Davis earned a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 1999. He continued his scientific work at The Scripps Research Institute, completing research in Molecular & Cellular Structure & Chemistry in 2002. He later turned to law, receiving his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2006, where his research emphasized highbrow property, litigation and technological know-how commercialization.

His first legal position following law school used to be as an affiliate at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto (now a part of Venable LLP) in 2006. That role placed him in the middle of contested patent things and counseling tasks for technological know-how clients. He moved into of-counsel work in intellectual estate litigation at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP in 2016, handling disputes that required each technical knowledge and court self-discipline.
