Joseph M. Flanders earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2004 after finishing a Bachelor of Arts in English on the University of Iowa in 2003. His time in law program included editorial work at the North Dakota Law Review, the place he served as Student Articles Editor from 2006 to 2007. Those years formed his early approach to analysis and legal writing.
He began his post-law school profession in personal practice. In 2008 he labored as an affiliate lawyer at Thorne Grodnik LLP.
