Joseph R. Johnson is a criminal defense lawyer based in Ocoee, Florida, with over 30 years of experience within the field.

He began his career in law enforcement in 1983 as a police officer at the Indiana University Police Department. After moving to Florida in 1985, he joined the Florida Highway Patrol as a State Trooper in 1987.

His curiosity within the legal process led him to pursue a professional legal career, culminating in his commencement from Nova Southeastern University College of Law in 1993. He was admitted to the Florida Bar on May 6, 1994, and has since been an active member.
