About Jonathan
Jonathan Ostroff began his legal path after earning a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University’s Beaver campus in 1982. He persisted his studies at Widener University Commonwealth Law School and acquired his J.D. in 1989. The timeline of his schooling set the stage for a career spent largely in trial work and client advocacy.
Soon after law school he entered personal practice. By 1993 he was a named companion at Ostroff Injury Law, a role he has held for many years. The role reflects an early shift into dealing with personal damage matters and critical civil legal proceedings. He constructed a practice that centers on court representation and settlement discussions for humans harm in accidents.
Ostroff’s expert affiliations underscore his standing amongst trial attorneys in the area. He is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar. Since 2017 he has served on the executive board of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2016, and he has been indexed among the National Trial Lawyers’ Top one hundred Trial Lawyers since 2017. Those memberships constitute peer networks and a persisted engagement with trial practice organizations.
Colleagues and clients describe his work as simple and outcomes-oriented. He focuses on proof development, depositions and litigation preparation. He handles bargaining sessions with insurers and opposing counsel, and he prepares complex instances for jury trials when settlement is not a choice. His courtroom years have left him relaxed in high-stakes settings and focused on the details that can change case outcomes.
Geographically, Ostroff practices in Pennsylvania and maintains offices that include a presence in Philadelphia and New Jersey. The company’s primary office serves as a central base for client conferences, case preparation and proceedings in state courts. He works with a group of attorneys and staff to manage caseloads and to coordinate expert witnesses, medical document review and evidence-gathering process.
Across his career he has balanced litigation, client counseling and organizational involvement. He continues to take cases that require courtroom experience and an approach tailor-made to every client’s situation. His current practice concentrates on representing people in private damage and associated civil legal proceedings matters.
