About Jonathan (Gianni)
Jonathan (Gianni) Karmily earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2006. He moved into New York practice after law school and built knowledge in both courthouse settings and defense-oriented legal offices. Early roles exposed him to client intake, pretrial motions and courtroom process. Those formative years formed how he approaches casework today.
Karmily’s early legal work covered internships and assistant positions that placed him interior felony defense environments. He labored as a legal intern on the Legal Aid and Defender Association in 2008 and served as a legal assistant at more than one companies beginning in 2001. By 2012 he used to be operating as a regulation clerk at Bark & Karpf and the Law Office of Laurence A. Silverman. Those positions deepened his court familiarity and moved him towards attorney-level practice.
He took on of-counsel roles at several companies over the subsequent decade. In 2014 he served of counsel at Bark & Karpf, and in 2016 he worked of counsel on the Law Office of Stephanie Selloni.
