John E. Flor built his legal basis in the classroom. He earned a B.A. from Flagler College in 2003, where he studied political science, anthropology and overseas studies. He went directly to Suffolk University Law School and acquired his J.D. in 2008.
He began his professional legal career in the public sector quickly following law school. In 2008 he served as an Assistant District Lawyer within the Bristol County District Lawyer's Office.
