About Jessica Ann
Jessica Ann Foley constructed her legal basis at Northeastern University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 1998. Before law school she studied biochemistry at Smith College, graduating in 1993. Those early selections positioned science and regulation at the same path for her, and they inform how she approaches instances today.
Her early career moved quickly into public service. In 2001 she joined the Plymouth County District Lawyer's Office as an assistant district lawyer. That role gave her court time and direct publicity to the day-to-day work of prosecutors. She transitioned to personal practice in 2005 as an affiliate at Sakakeeny & Associates, then took on two roles in 2007: senior advisor at Grandfield & Murphy, LLP and an attorney role at Sullivan & Sweeney, LLP. In 2009 she opened her personal company, the Law Office of Jessica A. Foley, and has run it since.
That mix of public and personal work underpins her approach to criminal and family instances. Her certifications from the Committee for Public Counsel Services consist of membership on the Criminal Defense Trial Panel, Youthful Offender Defense certification, and placement on the Children and Family Law Trial Panel. Those qualifications reflect each courtroom experience and work representing clients in touchy, high-stakes things involving younger people and households.
Alongside court work, Foley has maintained ties to the nearby bar. She has been a member of the Massachusetts State Bar since 2002. Her years practicing law span roles on both facets of the aisle: prosecutorial work early in her professional life and defense and family advocacy later. That variety gives her point of view on how instances are constructed and defended, from initial filings through resolution.
Clients encounter a lawyer who emphasizes preparation and direct communication. She draws at the procedural education of her early prosecutorial work and the strategic demands of private practice. Her company handles felony protection matters and instances that contact on formative years and family regulation, including contested hearings and trial work when required.
In every day practice she manages the Law Office of Jessica A. Foley, representing clients in Massachusetts courts. Her recent practice makes a speciality of criminal protection and family law things in Massachusetts.
