About Jeremy

Jeremy Gibson educated as a historian and journalist before turning to regulation. He completed his undergraduate research at Indiana University in 1984, earning a B.A. in History and Journalism. Three years later he received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987. The combination of liberal arts and legal training shaped an analytical strategy to truth styles and written advocacy.

After law school he entered practice in Illinois. Over time he has maintained active memberships within the Illinois State Bar and the Chicago Bar Association. Those memberships have stored him related to the expert community within the state and to ongoing legal training programs.

His career has been centered at Jeremy A. Gibson & Associates, P.C., the place he practices from an office in Illinois. The firm carries his name and serves clients in things arising under Illinois law. His work there reflects continuous practice rather than public-dealing with legal proceedings headlines; he is now not primarily recognized for high-profile cases recorded in the national press.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and direct in his approach. He tends to favor cautious preparation and clear writing. Those habits trace back to his dual undergraduate center of attention in history and journalism, disciplines that reward evidence and concise narrative. In client matters he prioritizes clear explanations and realistic assessments of risk.

Outside of day-to-day practice he has remained engaged with expert groups in Chicago and throughout Illinois. Regular participation in bar association events maintains him recent on regulation changes and nearby court practices. He has not been widely posted in countrywide journals, neither is there a public record right here of academic appointments, but he has contributed time to bar activities and local professional exchanges.

His practice in Illinois continues thru Jeremy A. Gibson & Associates, P.C., the place he handles client matters at the state level and keeps active standing within the Illinois legal community.
