About Jeffrey D.
Jeffrey D. Maynard earned his law degree from Michigan State University in 1994. He started his professional legal career in Michigan courts shortly after graduation and moved into private practice before establishing his own firm.
He has been the owner of Maynard Law Associates, PLLC since 1999. The company reflects his choice to construct a tradition rooted in court work and client representation. Over the years he has handled things that required appearances in both trial courts and appellate settings.
Maynard is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the Federal Circuit. He has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan in nice status since 1999. His admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan dates to 1999, and he was licensed to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan in 2010.
He works frequently in federal and state court. That work has included trials and proceedings in district courts and filings at the appellate degree. Maynard’s courtroom experience spans pretrial practice, movement work and oral argument, and he frequently handles things that move among trial and appellate forums.
Outside of court filings and proceedings, he manages the daily operations of his company. Running a small practice calls for juggling client work, legal strategy and firm management. He has said that managing those needs is a part of working as an attorney in a regional marketplace like Michigan.
He continues to maintain his practice at Maynard Law Associates, PLLC, representing clients in state and federal things, including legal proceedings and appellate hearings.
