About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Buehner earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1995. He started his professional legal career while still near the courthouse, serving as a regulation clerk at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in 1993. That early exposure to public practice shaped the next steps of his profession.
After law school he took on prosecutorial work. He joined the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecuting lawyer in 1995. Two years later he moved to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, the place he continued as an assistant prosecuting lawyer. Those positions gave him court time and experience handling felony things at the county level.
By 2001 Buehner shifted into private practice, joining the company Blake Kirchner Symonds Larson Kennedy & Smith.
