Jeffrey Andrew Rager is a certified attorney admitted to practice regulation in California in 1996, holding. Mr. Rager earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego in 1993. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating in 1996. During his time at Loyola, he gained realistic experience as an extern on the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and with the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Rager's practice areas include labor law, civil rights, and personal damage. He represents clients in cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour disputes, and a number of private damage things. His legal work encompasses all levels of legal proceedings, from initial case assessment and discovery to settlement negotiations and trial hearings in each state and federal courts.
Throughout his profession, Mr. Rager has treated cases in the Superior Court of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has achieved several multimillion-greenback verdicts, including a seven-figure jury verdict in 2015. Prior to founding his personal company, he was a companion at Mathews & Rager, LLP, from 2000 to 2005, and a lawyer at Hillsinger & Costanzo from 1997 to 1999. He started his legal career as a regulation clerk at Girardi & Keese from 1994 to 1996.
Mr. Rager is an active member of several expert organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the California Employment Lawyers Association. He has been recognized as a Southern California "Super Lawyer" from 2012 to 2026 and used to be named one of the Top one hundred Lawyers in Southern California by Super Lawyers in 2017, 2020, and 2024.
