About Jason S.
Jason S. Kanterman built his legal foundation at Rutgers School of Law–Camden, earning his J.D. in 2016 after completing a B.A. in Political Science and Global Studies at Rider University in 2013. He arrived in law ready to argue, studies and teach. That combination of study room and courtroom experience shaped how he approaches instances and clients.
After law program he entered practice and later joined Stone & Magnanini LLP as an associate. At the company he labored on legal proceedings matters that required appearances in a variety of courts. He has treated filings and hearings in state and federal boards, and he brought classroom experience into the workplace after a stint coaching at his alma mater. In 2018 he served as a part-time law professor at Rutgers Law School, returning to campus to guide students through practical elements of legal work.
Kanterman’s credentials include admissions throughout more than one jurisdictions. He is certified in New Jersey and New York, and he holds admissions to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those admissions have allowed him to manage things that traverse nearby and federal practice lines and to symbolize clients the place federal guidelines and procedures govern.
Outside formal employment he has remained active in community-orientated legal work. He volunteers for ReNew Camden, the Federal Prisoner Reentry Program run through the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. That position places him within the network of returning residents and gives ordinary touch with issues that arise on the intersection of felony justice and reentry supports.
