About Jacob
Jacob Vela is an Oregon-licensed attorney who joined the personal bar after completing law school within the early 2020s. He moved into legal practice after finishing a nontraditional undergraduate trail that combined study and other interests. He brings a methodical approach to daily issues and to contentious matters alike.
Vela earned his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 2022 after beginning his research in 2019. Before law program he completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University, receiving that diploma in 2017. Those years of study formed how he thinks about evidence, procedure, and the practical penalties of legal decisions.
Soon after graduating, Vela entered personal practice in Oregon. He accepted an affiliate role at a small firm earlier than moving to Argo Law LLC, where he remains on the legal department. Colleagues describe him as measured and attentive to detail. He discovered courtroom procedure and dossier management at the job, taking on evidence-gathering process duties, pretrial motions, and client meetings that required quick adaptation and steady court decision.
