About Jacob
Jacob Rennick earned a B.A. in Spanish from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010 and finished his J.D. at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2013. His path through two different areas of the country formed the early contours of his law school training. He studied regulation in New Orleans and left law school organized to work in jurisdictions that rely on diverse legal traditions.
After law program he began practicing in Louisiana. In 2014 he joined E. Orum Young Law LLC as a lawyer. That early period of practice gave him experience in law office operations and client representation. He treated things that required a knowing of state procedures and discovered how to control instances from intake to decision.
Rennick later moved to Pelican Law, becoming a member of that company in 2021. His work there has kept him engaged in state-degree practice throughout two neighboring jurisdictions. He participates in case preparation, client consultations, and courtroom hearings where appropriate. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his strategy to casework and continuous in managing time limits and filings.
He is licensed to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. That dual registration has required him to master procedural variations and local practice customs. It also means he can advise clients whose things touch each states. He maintains membership within the Louisiana State Bar Association and remains lively within the expert networks that surround state practice.
Rennick’s undergraduate education in Spanish continues to inform how he communicates with clients. Language abilities may be useful in client interviews, records review, and when coordinating with witnesses or outside events. He brings that realistic ability to day-to-day casework and makes use of it to make sure clearer exchanges and higher client understanding.
Today he practices out of Pelican Law LLC. His background includes years in Louisiana practice and several more current years at Pelican Law, the place he combines trial experience, case management, and client counseling. He focuses his recent practice on things springing up beneath Texas and Louisiana regulation.
