About Harold M.
Harold M. Goldner constructed a legal career that moves between the courtroom and the bar association meeting room. He is a litigator who has spent decades dealing with employment and labor things in Pennsylvania and federal courts. His career blends solo practice, company roles and sustained involvement in expert organizations.
He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in 1973, earning a B.A. in English and Political Science. He returned to school for regulation, taking his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1977. Later, in 1994, he earned a LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University, sharpening courtroom abilities that would shape his practice.
Goldner began practicing in the years following law school and released his own company, the Law Offices of Harold M. Goldner, in 1998. He later served of counsel at Kraut Harris, P.C. beginning in 2010. In 2022 he joined Friedman Schuman as a principal, a role he holds today. Those shifts mirror a practice that has alternated between the autonomy of solo practice and the collaborative surroundings of based companies.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is permitted to seem earlier than the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. highest court. Over the years his docket has focused on employment disputes, labor issues and associated civil litigation. His trial education and appellate admissions have allowed him to manage matters at numerous levels of the federal system.
Goldner has been active in bar work for far of his profession. He served as chair of the Labor & Employment Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has been on its Section Council since 2007. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1980 and maintained an American Bar Association membership from 1980 until 2018. In Montgomery County, the place he has been a member of the 1st viscount montgomery of alamein Bar Association since 2005, he served at the board, chaired the Employment & Labor Committee and formerly chaired the Law Reporter Committee. He also led the National Employment Lawyers Association’s Eastern Pennsylvania affiliate as president from 2005 to 2009 and has been involved in the Solo & Small Firm Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, including service as chair.
Colleagues describe him as a skilled courtroom lawyer who pairs trial education with long-time period involvement within the career’s institutional life. He currently practices at Friedman Schuman and handles labor and employment legal proceedings, counseling and appellate matters.
