About Gregory J.
Gregory J. Prickett constructed a profession that crosses regulation and law enforcement. He finished his Juris Doctor at Texas A&M University in 2014 after in advance studies at Excelsior College, where he earned a B.S. in Political Science and Sociology and an A.S. in Liberal Arts. Those academic steps set a practical tone for his work. He combined classroom study with courtroom publicity early on.
He spent parts of 2013 and 2014 operating within the Tarrant County legal system. While nevertheless in law program he served as a legal intern with Tarrant County Judicial Staff Counsel and later with the Tarrant County Criminal District Lawyer’s workplace. He also served as a clerk for the 371st District Court in Texas. Those positions put him close to day-to-day courtroom procedure and litigation preparation. They also gave him firsthand experience handling motions, witness interviews, and the rhythms of felony dockets.
After passing through the ones public-sector roles he entered private practice. In 2015 he became a founding partner of Malonis & Prickett Law, PLLC. He has practiced there since, dealing with matters that arise across Texas. His monitor record is grounded in courtroom work. He regularly seems before judges and juries and handles pretrial proceedings and plea negotiations.
Prickett’s background extends past the bar. He holds more than one certifications from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, which includes Master Peace Officer and numerous instructor credentials. He is a licensed firearms instructor and a certified SFST (Standardized Field Sobriety Test) teacher and practitioner. Those skills reflect prior service and education in policing and they tell how he approaches evidentiary and procedural problems in felony instances.
He is a member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Those memberships hyperlink him to a community of attorneys who practice throughout the state.
