About Greg D.
Greg D. Porter took a traditional trail into the law. He finished his undergraduate research on the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. He then went directly to Capital University Law School, the place he acquired his law degree in 2012. Those years formed his access into practice and nearby legal circles.
Soon following law school, Porter became lively in county and state bar organizations. He has been a member of the Butler County Bar Association since 2012 and of the Ohio State Bar Association since 2010. That twin club displays ties to both local courtrooms and wider expert networks in Ohio.
Public service has been part of his portfolio. In 2016 he joined the Fairfield Board of Zoning Appeals, a position that uncovered him to land-use and municipal choice-making. In 2020 he served as a Notary Class Instructor for the Butler County Bar Association Notary Committee, coaching realistic skills for notary public duties to peers and network members.
Porter is licensed to practice in Ohio, to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and earlier than the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Those credentials allow him to appear in state courts, in federal judiciary within the Southern District, and in immigration courts. The mix of admissions shapes the kinds of things he handles and the boards the place he seems.
He practices at RODRIGUEZ & PORTER, Ltd., where he works on things that reach both administrative tribunals and trial courts. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing cases and direct in courtroom settings. He balances client meetings, filings and appearances throughout municipal, state and federal matters.
Porter’s background combines local civic roles with court practice. He has taught notary procedures, served on a zoning board and maintained ongoing involvement in county and state bar groups. He continues to represent clients in immigration hearings and in state and federal boards where his admissions allow him to appear.
