About George Jed

George Jed Chronic trained first as a scholar of politics and later as a lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2000 and finished his law degree at Washington University School of Law in 2004. Those academic years set the stage for a career that crosses several state lines.

After law school, Chronic built a practice that spans multiple jurisdictions. He is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Missouri, Florida and Illinois. That variety of admissions lets in him to work on matters that contain clients, laws and courts in more than one state. He has navigated the practical challenges that include coordinating filings, time limits and procedural rules throughout diverse systems.

Early in his profession Chronic cut up time among courtroom work and counseling clients outdoor of legal proceedings. He has experience preparing court filings and filings, conducting legal research and advising on compliance problems. He also hung out growing techniques for cases that required cooperation among counsel in different states. Those efforts helped him refine a strategy that balances procedural detail with awareness to client objectives.

Chronic stays lively in professional circles. He maintains current memberships in bar associations and different legal groups, where he participates in continuing schooling and professional packages. Those connections provide him access to peer views and updates on evolving regulation. He also draws on the ones networks when matters demand coordinated efforts throughout jurisdictions.

He presently practices at Maschka, Riedy & Ries. At the company he works with clients whose matters benefit from admissions in several states. His work often requires drafting and reviewing files, coordinating with local counsel, and managing the timelines that vary by courtroom and legal authority. He strategies every file with an eye fixed towards clarity in process and consistency in representation.

Outside the office Chronic’s background in political science informs how he frames legal questions and communicates alternatives to clients. He emphasizes plain language and realistic next steps. He presently focuses his practice on multi-jurisdictional things throughout Minnesota, Missouri, Florida and Illinois.
