About Gary Paul
Gary Paul McFarling built a career that moves among numbers and the regulation. He began in finance and accounting. Over time he further a law degree and shifted into legal practice. The end result is a profile that blends realistic business sense with courtroom and transactional work.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Central Michigan University in 1984. He returned to graduate faculty at the University of Hawaii–Manoa and completed a MBA in International Business in 1991. He then attended Wayne State University Law School and received his J.D. in 1995. Those 3 steps — finance, worldwide enterprise, and law — form the spine of his expert trajectory.
After university he labored as an accountant and analyst in a variety of settings starting in 1988. By the early Nineteen Nineties he had moved into management at a financial organization, serving as a finance company supervisor in 1992. He took on a corporate controller position at a private enterprise in 1994, a job that placed him close to operational and monetary choice-making at a senior level. Those years in accounting and corporate finance preceded his formal access into the legal profession and proceed to form how he approaches legal problems.
Following law program Mr. McFarling practiced as an attorney at a law office in 1998. That duration marked a deliberate transition from company finance to legal practice. His background gives him an ability to parse financial documents, examine transactional risk, and advise clients on regulatory and business issues. He often works on things where legal and financial worries intersect.

He keeps a tradition that displays his training in finance, international enterprise and law, and he applies that aggregate to advising clients on transactional and corporate issues in the state of Illinois.
