Gary L. Conwell earned his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1978. He entered the legal profession at a time of change in each state and federal courts. That education laid the groundwork for an extended profession in court work and appellate hearings.
Over the many years since law school, Conwell has practiced in matters that cross state and federal lines. He is licensed to practice in Kansas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Those admissions have allowed him to manage a range of filings, from state-level litigation to appeals that raise federal questions.
Conwell’s professional life consists of steady involvement in bar organizations. He joined the Topeka Bar Association in 2013 and the Kansas Bar Association in 2015. He further a national association in 2017 when he have become a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
