About Evan (Mac)
Evan (Mac) Meade took a direct trail into law school after completing his undergraduate diploma at East Tennessee State University in 2003. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2005. Those years laid the groundwork for a practice formed by trial work and bar affiliation involvement.
Meade began his association with Meade Law Group in 2008 as a lawyer. He rose to the position of principal in 2017 and has overseen the company’s things since then. The transition marked a shift from practitioner to company leader. He continued to manage courtroom work whilst he took on administrative responsibilities.
Professional organizations have been a constant part of his profession. Meade joined countrywide and state bar teams in 2004, including the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Washington County Bar Association. He served at the Tennessee Association for Justice’s board of administrators from 2009 to 2014 and chaired that company’s Young Lawyers Committee for the same period. More recently he holds membership in the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a connection that started in 2014 and remains current.
Those affiliations reflect an attorney who values peer engagement. He has been lively in committees and governance. The dates and roles display both early involvement and later leadership. Colleagues and younger attorneys have seemed to him for guidance during his years chairing the Young Lawyers Committee.
Meade’s work at the firm mixes case preparation, court advocacy and oversight of company operations. He manages trials and client relationships whilst shaping the company’s approach to legal proceedings. He balances the day-to-day needs of clients with mentoring newer attorneys within the workplace.
Outside the workplace he participates in ongoing legal training and bar things to do tied to trial practice and felony protection. He maintains memberships that maintain him connected to advancements in both civil and felony litigation. He presently practices at Meade Law Group, dealing with trial work in civil and criminal things.
