About Emily
Emily Walters earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2009 after completing a bachelor’s diploma in history and international studies at Thomas More College in 2004. The aggregate of liberal arts and legal background formed an interest in how regulation intersects with network and public affairs. She has built a tradition centered in Kentucky since finishing her research.
Her early years in the career were spent setting up a foothold in private practice. In 2021 she shaped Walters Law, PLLC, where she treated day-to-day client matters and controlled the responsibilities that include running a small practice. That experience exposed her to both the legal and business sides of operating a regulation office and knowledgeable how she approaches client relationships and case management.
In 2023 she became a partner at Ziegler & Schneider. The move marked a shift from solo practice to a partnership version, and it additionally expanded the resources to be had to her and her clients. Colleagues describe her as methodical and pragmatic in the way she evaluates cases and organizes case strategy. She maintains an active expert presence and holds current club in bar and legal organizations.
Walters blends trial experience with transactional work. She has treated things that required negotiation, drafting and appearances earlier than tribunals in Kentucky.
