About Emily Riordan
Emily Riordan Lucibello earned a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Connecticut in 2006. Her educational background supplied a grounding in court process and public policy at a time when she was preparing to go into Connecticut’s trial bar.
She moved right into a management role early. In 2009 she served as managing shareholder and lawyer at Riordan, Cutting & Shore, LLP. That role combined case work and company management. She treated legal proceedings and oversaw day-to-day operations while constructing a practice within the local courts.
Two years later she entered private partnership. In 2012 she co-based Lucibello & Proscino, LLP. The partnership lasted until she released her own solo practice in 2014, operating as Law Offices of Emily S. Lucibello, LLC. Her office is positioned downtown in Milford, Connecticut, on the green.
Her profession has been marked by continuous professional involvement past the court. She has been a member of the New Haven County Bar Association since 2009 and joined the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association in 2010. Lucibello has been active in the Milford Bar Association since 2011. Nationally, she took part in committees of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers among 2010 and 2016, which includes work on demise penalty and legislative affairs topics. She used to be also a member of the American Bar Association from 2006 thru 2016 and belonged to the Connecticut Bar Association from 2009 to 2014.
That combination of trial association club and committee work has shaped the types of things she accepts. Over the years she has tried cases and treated contested hearings in Connecticut courts. Colleagues describe her as skilled in courtroom procedures and trial preparation. Clients encounter an attorney who has navigated legal strategy, witness preparation, and evidentiary disputes in contested matters.
Today she runs a solo practice in Milford, maintaining ties to county and trial lawyer groups while representing clients in state court. Her recent practice focuses on felony protection and trial litigation.
