About E. Martin
E. Martin Knepper has practiced regulation for decades across Delaware and Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Delaware in 1977 and a law degree from Dickinson School of Law in 1980. Those years set the inspiration for a profession spent largely in litigation and courtroom work.
He started his legal career in authorities. In 1981 he served as Deputy Lawyer General on the State of Delaware Department of Justice. That early knowledge placed him at the the front line of state legal proceedings and uncovered him to a wide variety of legal issues handled by the department. A few years later he left public service to begin personal practice.
In 1984 Knepper opened the Law Offices of E. Martin Knepper as a sole practitioner. He constructed a small practice and treated instances personally for clients. In 1987 he joined Czajkowski, Weik & Knepper as an attorney, returning to a group surroundings and broadening the scope of his caseload. In 1992 he have become a partner at Knepper & Stratton, a role he has held since. The firm maintains workplaces in Wilmington, Dover and Newark, the place he has persisted to handle court matters and oversee client work.
His professional affiliations include long-standing club in the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, a membership he has held since 1985. The association ties mirror his ongoing work in things that reach trial. He is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Delaware and has spent his profession dividing time among the two states as conditions and clients required.
Knepper’s profession path follows a steady trajectory from authorities service to solo practice to partnership in a regional firm. He has alternated between taking on cases for my part and participating with colleagues. That mix of knowledge informs how he approaches disputes and courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe him as continuous and practical in the way he manages cases and interacts with witnesses and clients.
Today he continues at Knepper & Stratton, operating from the firm’s Wilmington, Dover and Newark offices. He advocates for clients in civil legal proceedings, which includes private damage and trial things, across Delaware and Pennsylvania.
