About Dustin E.

Dustin E. Nimz took a direct route into court work. He earned a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007 and later finished a LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University Beasley School of Law. The advanced trial education shaped how he strategies proof, witnesses and courtroom strategy.

Early in his profession he concentrated on criminal matters. Over time he sought formal popularity of that work. He is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a credential that denotes peer review and checking out in that region of practice. He additionally holds admission to practice in Texas and earlier than the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

His involvement within the career extends beyond person cases. Since 2018 he has served as a director of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. In that position he has participated in programming and governance aimed at helping defense lawyers throughout the state.
