About Douglas E.

Douglas E. Fierberg constructed his trail to the regulation from two very different campuses. He studied psychology on the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, then went on to earn a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Those early selections formed the way he thinks about people and the manner he prepares cases.

He has lengthy practiced throughout more than one jurisdictions. He holds memberships in Maryland, Michigan and the District of Columbia and has been lively in bar and trial groups for many years. He has been a member of the District of Columbia Bar since 1989 and joined the Michigan Bar in 2012. Over the years he have become concerned with both nearby and countrywide professional organizations that concentrate on trial work and victims’ problems.

Fierberg’s career covered a partnership he took on in 2002 at Sherman, Meehan, Curtain, AIN, P.C. That period broadened his trial experience and exposed him to complex litigation. He later established his own practice shape and has persisted to symbolize clients in trial settings and associated proceedings.

He participates in some of expert associations. Current memberships include the American Association for Justice, the National Crime Victim Bar Association, the DC Trial Lawyers Association, the Michigan Association for Justice and the National Trial Lawyers Association. He also keeps ties to the DC Bar Association. Those group affiliations reflect repeated court work and involvement in issues that occur earlier than judges and juries.

Colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic. He prepares for trial however does not shy away from resolution when an agreement better serves a client’s interests. He attracts on psychological training to assess witness testimony and to border themes that jurors can understand. His training and court work inform one another in regimen ways.
