About Diona

Diona Potter earned a B.S. in Urban Policy Studies from Georgia State University in 2000 and returned to high school for a J.D., which she received from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2006. Her educational trail mixed a curiosity in community problems with formal legal training. The sequence of degrees set a firm basis for a profession spent practicing in Georgia.

She started her submit-law school practice as an affiliate at Molden Holley & Thompson, LLC in 2008. That role gave her early publicity to the day-to-day demands of a regulation workplace and to working right away with clients and opposing counsel. Colleagues from that duration recall that the work used to be quick-paced and required juggling multiple matters at once.

In 2009 she moved into a partner position at Potter Sieg, LLC. The change got here shortly after her time as an affiliate. As a companion, she took on higher responsibility for supervising cases and guiding client approach. Over the years she has overseen groups and managed both client intake and case preparation.

Potter’s practice has concerned advising clients, preparing pleadings and different legal files, and appearing on behalf of clients in a number of forums. She has handled bargaining sessions and has represented clients in contested matters when instances could not be resolved thru settlement. Her work requires balancing procedural time limits with the realistic needs of the humans and organizations she advocates for.

Outside of the office, Potter maintains lively ties to the legal network. She is a recent member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. Those memberships keep her related to ongoing legal training and to the expert networks that form practice requirements in Atlanta and across the state.

Her friends describe her approach as methodical and steady. She practices in Georgia and continues to simply accept things through Potter Sieg, LLC. She currently practices at Potter Sieg, LLC, representing clients in things throughout Georgia.
