About Derek Eugene
Derek Eugene Horne earned his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2004. He left law program at a time when many new lawyers moved straight into personal practice. He chose a trail that mixed public service and firm work, and that range has formed his career.
Early on he labored for the United States Commission on Civil Rights as an attorney starting in 2006. That role placed him in a federal setting where governing statutes and coverage reviews are regimen. The knowledge added a public-law dimension to his resume and uncovered him to issues that prolong beyond court work.
In 2009 he took a diplomatic post as Vice Consul at the British Consulate within the Greater Atlanta region. The consular assignment introduced a diverse set of duties and views. He has mixed federal knowledge, consular service, and company management in a profession that crosses numerous legal settings.
He now leads The Horne Law Office, P.C., dealing with a range of legal matters for clients in Georgia.
