Deacon Haymond is the founder and managing director of Haymond Law, a firm that specializes in property making plans, probate, and taxation law. Since 2004, he has been practicing law in Utah, focusing on assisting clients conserve their wealth and plan their legacies. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Deacon has a robust connection to the area people. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Utah in 2000, laying a strong basis for his legal career. After finishing his undergraduate research, Deacon pursued his Juris Doctor at the S.J — Quinney College of Law, graduating in 2004. During his time in law program, he gained inexperience by interning with the Honorable Judge Frederic Oddone within the Third District Court.

This internship supplied him with insights into the judicial process. Additionally, he served as a senior body of workers member for the Journal of Law and Family Studies, in addition enhancing his understanding of legal matters associated with household and estate things. Following his graduation, Deacon passed the Utah State Bar in 2004 and began his profession at a boutique asset protection and wealth transfer law company. His next meaningful role used to be at Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, the place he developed the Park City practice, specializing in trust administration and probate matters. This experience allowed him to refine his skills in property making plans and broaden his talent in legal issues affecting families and people. In 2010, Deacon took a meaningful step by founding Haymond Law, aiming to offer comprehensive estate planning services to clients throughout Utah.

Under his management, the firm has expanded to include workplaces in Park City and Cottonwood Heights.
