David Dubin trained first as a political scientist. He earned a B.S. in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University after which went on to Michigan State University College of Law, where he received his J.D. Those years set the stage for a practice that crosses both state and federal lines.
After law school he entered practice and gained admission to numerous courts. He is authorized to seem earlier than the courts of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions reflect a practice that engages matters at trial and on attraction.
In 2021 he released his own firm, Dubin Law, PLLC. Starting a solo firm allowed him to form the practice around court work and appellate filings. The company handles matters that require awareness in state and federal forums, and it represents clients who want counsel at different levels of legal proceedings.
His trial experience is mirrored in the variety of things that pass thru his office. He prepares briefs for appellate courts and handles filings in trial courts. He also manages procedural strategy for instances that may travel between state and federal structures. That twin orientation—dealing with things at more than one degree of the judiciary—has become a defining feature of his work.
