About Daniel

Daniel Wehking is an estate making plans and elder law attorney based in Lady Lake, Florida. Since 2006, he has been dedicated to practicing law in the state. His company, positioned at 104 S Old Dixie Highway, focuses on a number of services, including property planning, asset safety, guardianships, senior law, and estate and trust administration and legal proceedings. He attended the Marine and Science Technology Academy, a marine science-themed public magnet faculty close to Key Biscayne. His concentrate on flora and fauna led him to work on the Miami Seaquarium and the Monkey Jungle, the place he cared for dolphins and monkeys. These youth instilled in him a sense of duty and compassion, characteristics that he brings to his legal practice. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, the place he developed a solid basis in critical thinking and analysis. He then pursued his Juris Doctorate at Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey.

During his time in law program, he used to be awarded a Dean Merit Scholarship, recognizing his educational achievements and potential. After graduating, Daniel returned to Florida to start his legal career as a prosecutor in Polk County, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience. In Polk County, he attempted numerous instances, securing sentences up to lifestyles in prison with out parole for critical felonies. His commitment to justice continued with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Marion and Putnam Counties. There, he handled critical cases, which includes first-diploma criminal murder, at each trial and appellate ranges.

This extensive background in criminal regulation supplied him with unique insights into the justice system, which he now applies to his property making plans and elder law practice. In 2016, Daniel made a meaningful transition to focus on property planning and elder law, recognizing the growing need for these offerings in his network. He is an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution, Elder Law, and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law sections of the Florida Bar Association. Outside of his professional life, Daniel is married to Tracey, a fellow former prosecutor who currently serves because the Youth Services Coordinator for the Sumter County Library System. Together, they contribute to their community while navigating the details of the legal profession.
