About Daniel Allen
Daniel Allen Krieger earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston–Downtown in 2005 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston in 2008. He moved from an undergraduate software into law school on a traditional timeline. Those degrees provided the academic basis for a career that has spanned regulation enforcement and court work.
Krieger’s access into public safety came years earlier than law program. He served as a lieutenant with the League City Police Department beginning in 1996. The rank positioned him in supervisory roles on patrol and investigations. That experience informed his later work in criminal law and contributed to numerous professional law-enforcement certifications he later obtained.
After completing law school, he entered prosecution and private practice. In 2009 he served as an assistant district lawyer in Harris County. The identical year he have become a managing shareholder at Krieger & Tillinger, a company he helped form in its early years. Those roles mirrored a shift from implementing the law to advocating in courtrooms, and they gave him exposure to each facets of felony cases.
Krieger holds numerous credentials tied to impaired-riding work and police procedures. He is a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Practitioner and an Instructor licensed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He is a Breath Test Operator certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety and is credentialed as a Master Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Those qualifications are applicable to DUI and related prosecutions, areas that commonly hinge on technical proof and procedure.
He keeps memberships in professional organizations that align with his practice. He has been a member of the National College for DUI Defense since 2008. He has also belonged to the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Galveston Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2011. Through the ones groups he participates in continuing legal education and case discussions amongst felony defense peers.
Krieger is admitted to practice in Texas and before the Federal Circuit. His practice includes criminal protection things and household regulation cases. He works from both felony and family law offices, the use of his trial experience and law-enforcement background in client representation. He currently practices in felony and family law.
