Dana Louise Curtis is a licensed attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California. She used to be admitted to the California State Bar in 1987. Her license is currently in lively status. Ms. Curtis is the principal at Dana Curtis Mediation, a mediation practice based in Sausalito, California. She has been practicing law for over 38 years, serving clients across the Bay Area and beyond.

Ms. Curtis earned her law degree diploma from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1987. Prior to law program, she completed her undergraduate schooling on the University of Montana. During her time at Santa Clara University, she developed a strong foundation in opportunity dispute resolution, which has been central to her legal career.

Ms. Curtis focuses on opportunity dispute decision (ADR), specializing in mediation, arbitration, and conflict decision. She has in depth experience in mediating a wide variety of disputes, including enterprise and commercial conflicts, employment problems, partnership disputes, elder-related things such as adult household selections and nursing home abuse, trusts, estates, and estate administration instances, in addition to private personal injury cases. Her practice encompasses all levels of alternative dispute resolution processes, which includes education, mediation, early neutral assessment, special grasp appointments, and impartial fact-finding.

Throughout her career, Ms. Curtis has handled cases in various courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the Court of Appeal for the First, Second, and Third Appellate Districts, and the Superior Courts of Marin, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and San Francisco. She has also served as a Circuit Mediator for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for 4 years. Prior to establishing her personal practice, she served as a regulation clerk to Associate Justice Edward A. Panelli of the California highest court and practiced commercial and employment legal proceedings with McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco and San Jose.

Ms. Curtis is an active member of several professional organizations, which includes the Mediation Society, the Association for Conflict Resolution of Northern California, and the California Dispute Resolution Council. She has served on the boards of the California Dispute Resolution Institute and the RockRose Institute, which she co-based. She has also been involved with the Ethics and Reconciliation Council of the Zen Center of San Francisco and the John F. McFetridge American Inn of Court. Additionally, she has held leadership roles within the Bar Association of San Francisco's Mediation Committee, which includes co-chairing the committee, and has been a member of the California State Bar's ADR Standing Committee. Ms. Curtis is English-speaking and has taught facilitated negotiation and bargaining seminars at Stanford Law School and Santa Clara University School of Law.
