About Damien D.

Damien D. Dorsey graduated from the University of Maryland - Baltimore County in 2007 and earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2010. He finished law school during a duration of meaningful difference within the legal market, entering the profession as courts and clients were adjusting to new technologies and tighter budgets. Those years shaped how he approaches legal work: methodically and with thoroughness.

Those admissions permit him to appear in both state and federal boards, and he has used the ones credentials to manage filings and courtroom appearances that require a familiarity with local guidelines and federal procedure.

Dorsey serves as an affiliate at Hartel, DeSantis & Murray, LLP. In that position he contributes to case preparation, drafts pleadings, conducts legal research and helps trial work when things proceed to contested hearings. Colleagues describe him as thorough in preparing history and responsive on discovery issues. His day-to-day work includes coordinating with clients, opposing counsel and courtroom staff to transport things forward.

Outside firm things, Dorsey keeps a club within the Maryland State Bar Association. He participates within the affiliation as a member, staying recent on regulation modifications and court decisions that have an effect on practice in Maryland. That membership provides a regular channel for ongoing legal training and networking with different practitioners around the state.

Dorsey’s career displays a continuous development from law school graduate to active attorney in each state and federal courts. He has developed realistic courtroom familiarity while dealing with pretrial work and motion practice. The combination of his educational background and court admissions positions him to control a variety of legal proceedings duties and procedural obligations.
