About Cole West

Cole West Enabnit earned a B.A. in English and Anthropology from Oregon State University in 2007. He went on to attend Lewis & Clark Law School and acquired his J.D. in 2014. His educational document shows a steady progression toward public-dealing with legal work and practice in the Pacific Northwest.

After law program, Enabnit began his legal career in immigration and criminal defense. In 2014 he labored as an immigration lawyer at Northwest Immigration & Criminal Defense LLP. The early years in that office gave him hands-on experience with household petitions, removal defense, and related criminal matters that intersect with immigration status.

In 2017 Enabnit joined Portland Immigration Law LLC. He continues to work there and has treated a range of immigration matters through the years. His case work has included administrative filings, client interviews, and court appearances when deportation proceedings required protection. Colleagues describe him as practical and direct in client conferences, preferring clear explanation over legal jargon.

Enabnit is licensed to practice in Oregon. He has maintained professional ties to the nearby bar and legal community. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, an organization that connects defense attorneys throughout the state and provides education on criminal practice and procedure. That club displays the overlap in his work between criminal defense problems and immigration consequences.

His work combines procedural duties and client counseling. He spends time preparing petitions and motions, amassing supporting documentation, and advising clients on potential immigration results. On a conventional day he moves among case preparation, client calls, and filing time limits. The practice requires thoroughness and a capacity to give an explanation for complex rules in plain language.

Enabnit practices in Portland at Portland Immigration Law LLC. He operates within Oregon’s justice system and works on matters that arise in both administrative and courtroom settings. He presently practices immigration law at Portland Immigration Law LLC, representing clients in Oregon.
