About Clark

Clark Mitchell constructed his path to the law in western Pennsylvania. He earned a B.A. in political science from Washington & Jefferson College in 1965 and took his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1969. Those two establishments bookend a formative decade that led him into long-status ties to the Pennsylvania bar community.

After law school, Mitchell entered practice in Pennsylvania. He joined the Pennsylvania State Bar in 1972 and has maintained club there ever since. He is likewise active in the nearby bar organizations that serve the region: the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Washington and Allegheny County Bar Associations, the place he remains a recent member.

Mitchell’s career spans multiple decades of legal work in state courts. Records display sustained involvement in county bar activities and in statewide expert groups. He has seen the practice difference thru shifts in process, technology and court culture. That perspective informs the measured approach he brings to legal work and to advising clients.

Colleagues and bar affiliation rosters list him as a fixture in local legal circles. He has balanced expert association work with courtroom and workplace practice. Over the years, Mitchell has treated matters that occur in Pennsylvania courts and has been an ordinary player in bar-subsidized panels and conferences within the region.

His courtroom experience is grounded in the realistic duties of litigation and counsel: preparing court filings, representing clients in proceedings and managing legal strategy. He has labored across a variety of things that generally come before county and state tribunals. Mitchell’s practice displays steady, procedural competence instead of an emphasis on exposure or awards.

Now in the later stages of an extended legal career, Mitchell continues to practice in Pennsylvania. He keeps lively membership in statewide and county bar associations and stays concerned in matters that come earlier than Pennsylvania courts. He presently concentrates his practice on things springing up in Pennsylvania courts.
