Fresh out of law program she served as a public defender in McDonough City Court. That early work put her in front of judges and clients on an every day basis. It used to be hands-on trial experience. She treated arraignments, hearings and the urgent wants of people dealing with criminal charges.
In 2015 she took on an enterprise role as president of Duvernay Enterprises, LLC. The position broadened her work past courtroom practice and into organizational management. Then, in 2019, she served as an associate pass judgement on in Clayton County Magistrate Court. That judicial stint changed how she viewed instances. Sitting on the bench sharpened her feel of procedure and clarified the practical pressures judges face when managing dockets.
She is the managing partner of Hill Duvernay and Associates. In that role she oversees client things and the day-to-day operations of the company. Her practice includes facilitated negotiation and arbitration through credentials from the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. She also participates in the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with colleagues across areas of practice and with organizations that address professional requirements and resources.
Her background combines public defense, judicial experience and private practice control. She has treated court work, presided over magistrate matters and run a small industry. The blend of roles offers her a realistic point of view on how cases move through Georgia courts and how alternative dispute decision can resolve conflicts without trial.
Her recent practice centers on client representation and dispute resolution in Georgia.
