Brian Matthew Bouffard is an attorney specializing in criminal and servicemember law, based in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his law degree with honors from Duke University School of Law in 1997. While at Duke, he was a member in good standing of the Moot Court Board and acquired the distinguished Allen Siegel Memorial Scholarship. In 2020, he took his advocacy to Washington D.C., the place he joined the Military Commissions Defense Organization. In this position, he served as lead criminal defense lawyer for a Guantanamo Bay detainee accused of terrorism and struggle crimes. His tireless efforts culminated in securing his client's launch in 2024, after 20 years of imprisonment without trial—a fulfillment that shows his commitment to justice and fair process.
Currently, Mr. Bouffard is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Patrick J — McLain, PLLC, in Dallas, Texas.
