About Brian M

Brian M Mittman constructed the foundations of his legal career at the University of Rochester and Brooklyn Law School. He completed undergraduate studies in political science at Rochester and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1991. Those years set the course for a tradition grounded in New York regulation.

He entered private practice within the early 1990s and became a companion at Markhoff & Mittman, PC in 1994. That promotion got here after numerous years of hands-on litigation work. Over time he developed a court practice that spans administrative proceedings and civil litigation associated to workplace injury disputes.

Much of his expert life has been formed by associations and bar work. He holds memberships in the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association, and participates regionally through the Westchester County Bar Association, Mt. Vernon Bar Association and White Plains Bar Association. He also belongs to the Jewish Lawyers Guild and the Coalition for Concerned Attorneys.

Mittman serves on several boards tied to employees’ damages problems. He sits on the boards of the Society of New York Workers Compensation Bar Association, the Injured Workers Bar Association and the New York Workers Compensation Alliance. He is also related to the Justice Louis Brandis Legal Foundation and the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute. Those affiliations mirror continuous engagement with friends who manage damage and compensation matters.

Clients and colleagues describe an attorney who handles the mechanics of claims, hearings and appeals. He frequently seems at administrative proceedings and negotiates resolutions the place appropriate. His practice involves clinical proof, vocational problems and the rules that govern New York workers’ compensation advantages. He is relaxed within the listening to room and in the front of insurance representatives, and he spends time preparing instances for trial when important.

His workplaces include places on Long Island, a New York City workplace to be had by appointment, and a main office. He continues to keep a lively position in bar organizations and board work while working as an attorney. His current practice facilities on employees’ damages cases and associated legal issues.
